Head Coach
I was responsible for assembling a U12 and U11 boys team for travel and participation in the Gothia Cup, Sweden. In total we travelled with 28 players aged between 10-11 years old. I served as Head Coach of the U12 team. My duties also included fundraising, budgeting, sponsorships, on-field training, travel arrangements, etc.

Travelled to Manchester, UK with a select group of U14 boys from Atlantic Canada to participate in the Manchester United Soccer Schools program. Played several competitive games versus local competition. I was responsible for organising and administering large portions of this venture, including fundraising, on-field training, travel arrangements, budgeting, sponsorship, etc.

Inherited a team that was at the bottom of the table and on the verge of folding. First season focus was on stabilising the team, which was accomplished by obtaining lucrative sponsorship's from local businesses. Second season focus was on the development of the on-field product which was highlighted by a fourth place finish and the only team to boast a winning record versus the eventual league champions.

The team was selected after a two-year process of scouting and evaluating players from every club within the province of Nova Scotia. The team eventually went on to win a bronze medal at the 2001 Canada Games Tournament. This team also boasted several youth national team players and future professionals.
2000-2002
High Performance Director - Soccer Nova Scotia
At the time, Soccer Nova Scotia, the provincial sport organisation (PSO), consisted of 30,000 registered members (male/female and senior/youth players). Initially hired as Program Coordinator, I quickly advanced to the position of High Performance Director (Technical Director). At the time I was the youngest provincial Technical Director in Canada.
